
Dr. Casey Garnham
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Dr Casey Garnham is a dedicated General Practitioner committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He graduated from the University of New England, completed his initial hospital training in Newcastle, NSW, and relocated to Melbourne in 2020 to continue his training. He later attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Garnham has a particular interest in sexual health, including STI screening, assessment and management, preventive sexual health, and HIV management as an S100 prescriber. He also provides Implanon insertion and removal and contraceptive advice with a focus on providing confidential, supportive and non-judgemental care.
He has a strong interest in skin health, including skin checks, skin cancer screening, lesion assessment and minor skin procedures, with an emphasis on prevention and early detection.
Dr Garnham also provides care for chronic health conditions, paediatric patients and iron deficiency, including iron infusions where clinically appropriate.
Prior to studying medicine, Dr Garnham worked as a physiotherapist, contributing to his holistic approach to patient care. He takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach and values building long-term relationships with patients and families.
